In August 2010 Desiree Hunter did something no one had done before, she opened the first food and beverage stand in the open air section of the Historic Charleston City Market. What started as a simple idea of Southern hospitality — offering sold drink on a sweltering day — has grown into one of Charleston’s beloved drink brands.
For over 15 years Lowcountry Lemonade has been a fixture at Charleston’s best markets and events. We’ve served thousand of locals and visitors who’ve made us art of their Charleston experience.
What hasn’t changed over the years? Our set-up has grown, our menu has expanded, and our reach has extended well beyond the City Market. What hasn’t changed is why we do it, genuine Southern hospitality and care in every cup.
